Kiwanis Club of Jelapang
The Kiwanis Club of Jelapang (KCJ) a Non-Government / Non-Profit global organization is a chapter of Kiwanis International.
Kiwanis Club of Jelapang (KCJ) had obtained its chartering status from Kiwanis International
(KI) on 7th July 2018 and obtained official registration from Registrar of Society Malaysia (ROS)
on 28th September 2018.
The Chartering President was than Mr. Chang Wai Choy which took office in the club for a term
in the year of 2018-2020. The club currently has 17 over active members from all walks of life.
Since its inception the club had been awarded several times “The Governor’s 5 Stars Challenge” by the Kiwanis District of Malaysia. The club had concluded several projects within these few years in the Perak districts. Thousands of Perakians had benefited from the club’s initiative from its projects.
The Club had contributed to the development of Youth programs by sponsoring a Circle K International Club. Circle K International (CKI) is the premier collegiate and university community service, leadership development, and friendship organization in the world. The youth club namely “CKI-ESnet Academy” has been established in the college ESnet Academy Ipoh.
The members had contributed thousands of community service hours each year in line with Kiwanis International motto of “Serving the Children of the World”
